Oldfields Opticians provides an NHS funded service for all those who find it difficult to attend a high street Opticians.
This service is provided through Eyes On Call Mobile Opticians.
If you, or someone you know suffers from a short or long-term illness, which restricts your mobility or renders you housebound you are entitled to a free eye test at home. One of our home visiting Opticians will come to your home and perform a free eye test after which they can recommend spectacles if needed.
A wide selection of frames are available and we provide all lens options from single vision, bifocals and varifocals, together with a range of coatings to suit all needs. Free glasses are also available for those eligible under the NHS.
We are now able to offer blepharitis treatment to those who are house bound and find it difficult to maintain the hygiene of their eye lids.
